As some of you know, I’ve been working with Campbell’s Condensed Soups over the last five months to bring you great ideas on how you can make mealtime fun and easy for your family. I’ve introduced you to The Wisest Kid, a very cute, smart and eternally ageless (except for that beard!) boy who knows a thing or two about what kids love.

I thought it might be really fun to have a look back at some of my favorite posts from The Wisest Kid campaign AND share with you some other “best ofs” about Campbell’s that you might not know about!

The Best Campbell’s History Facts

Here are some little trivia bits about Campbell’s Condensed Soups that you might not know!

* Campbell’s was first introduced in 1934 and was called “Chicken with Noodles” and surprisingly, only had moderate success. The following year, a radio announcer referred to the soup as “Chicken Noodle” during his radio show. Sales began to skyrocket, the soup was officially renamed, and an iconic brand was born!

* Chicken Noodle Soup is the brand’s best seller, with over 250 million cans sold every year (that’s a lot of noodles!).

* How many noodles is “a lot of noodles?” 1.5 MILLION miles of noodles are used in the soup each year. Wow!

The Best Dad Ever

And finally, you’ll love the latest Wisest Kid TV spot. It’s what happens when dads and daughters are left in the house to their own devices. You’ll get a real chuckle out of this one!

I want to thank Campbell  for a great few months, the delicious recipes, fascinating history lessons and the fun videos I’ve shared. Now? I’m off to make a little grilled cheese + tomato soup!

I know its first thing in the morning, but those mac & cheese cups are making me want lunch right now; maybe I should just have them for breakfast instead of waiting?

I agree. Those Mac & cheese cups are seriously drool-worthy. You can wake me up in the middle of the night for those!

Here’s hoping we can put those things to do on a snow day away until next winter! I can enjoy soup without all of the sub-zero temps and snow!
