Hi!
As this post goes live, I’ll be getting ready to speak at Bloggy Boot Camp Las Vegas about my experiences with monetizing my blog and building a freelance career.
If you’re a BBC Vegas attendee, you’re probably here because you want to see the slideshare I might be talking about today. If you’re not an attendee, you might still find this useful.
This slideshare is a quick and dirty – and by no means comprehensive- resource list for monetizing and freelancing. Don’t know what ad networks are out there? What direction to take your freelance career or where to find gigs? Looking for ways to score sponsored posts? That’s what this will help you with. I don’t cover things like affiliate networks and other opportunities to make money on your blog – this is merely a resource list.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me or leave a comment!

There are good number of opportunities to earn more money for that you just need to show your talent in front of readers and one more thing which you should remember in your mind always don’t play with your readers niche.

Great advice, as usual. I’ve been lucky that my freelance jobs have literally landed right in my lap, but I know that won’t always be the case.
I hope you enjoyed BBC Las Vegas and that your talk went well. Knowing you, you nailed it!

Thank you very much for posting and sharing this great article. It is so interesting. I want to know some other information about this site. So please give me this news quickly. I always will be aware of you.
Thank you for the resources, girl!
But mostly, HOORAY for you and your speaking at BBC! I’m so, so very proud of and happy for you!

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed your site and resources and would love to connect with you and of course when you have time chat with you. I’m very new to the blog world and initially started it when I recovered after an emotional year. I’ve always journaled and after my mom died, I wanted something tangible for my kids to hold onto when I’m gone. Not that, that’s going to happen anytime soon. I’d love to add you as a friend on facebook. Thanks for sharing your insights and paying it forward. I reference your blog quite a lot as I’m discovering my own niche. Sincerely, Leslie
Thanks for your kind words…email is best way to reach me and feel free to do so after the holidays!
