Mad Hatter Tea Party! Care for a spot?

Oh, who am I kidding? I am not serving tea at this party. I’m KludgyMom, and I prefer drinks with a little more kick . But before I get to my menu…and my giveaways….

This is the Mad Hatter Tea Party, hosted by A Fanciful Twist. If you haven’t been to her dreamy site, please go visit it. If you’re here from MHTP, a warm welcome from me, KludgyMom! I’m a snarky mommy blogger and I’m also food obsessed. So if you like snark, or food, or both, you’ll find something you like here. If you’re not here from MHTP, I welcome party crashers.

Okay, so on to my party. I expect some really, well, BIG names here today. Don’t let this get around, but Charo, Bret Michaels, and Brigitte Nielsen are all supposed to make an appearance. Hopefully this doesn’t distract you from blog hopping. Everyone who is anyone will be here to see the glitterati. As a result, I have to offer some swag. Bandanas and hoochie-coochie costumes were not available, but I do have:

* a scrabble tile pendant of your choice from Yum Yum Pendants

* a $40 gift card to CSN Stores

* a $30 shopping spree at Frecklebox, a site that specializes in uber-cool personalized kids’ gifts!

While you mull over the swag options, you might want a little nosh. As I said, I don’t serve tea here, but I will serve you a full meal. Let’s start out with some pineapple sangria, follow up with a no-lettuce Greek Salad with lemon-dill vinaigrette,

a pasta with roasted summer vegetables and basil as your main course,

and a lovely chocolate angel food cake for dessert.

My slogan for these things is, come for the food, stay for the snark. Stick around! But like fish, guests always stink after 3 days so don’t stay TOO long.
