I hope you all love this idea as much as I do.
How would you like to have an ongoing resource of writing topics and ideas? A place to go when you’re stuck on what to write about?
Well, this week, when you give a little to the B2S/B2B challenge, you’re going to get a lot back in return!
I’ve created a page called the Idea Bank. (soon it will be in my nav bar). The Idea Bank is going to be an ongoing, ever-growing bank of writing ideas created for this group, BY this group.
Right now, I have over 80 topics in the bank. Thanks to Joann of Laundry Hurts My Feelings for helping come up with some of these topics for me.
Your mission this week, should you choose to accept it, is:
1. Come up with 10 (or more!) writing topics for the Idea Bank. Post your topics in a comment on the Idea Bank page (don’t post it here). I’ll be updating the Idea Bank as the comments come in. Get creative, let them be outrageous, outlandish, controversial, thought-provoking, funny!
If everyone submits 10 topics…we’ll have a pool of over 1,000 topics to write about. Cool, right?
2. Next, take any ONE topic from the Idea Bank list and use that as inspiration your post for this week.
Everyone who completes both tasks and leaves a comment on the Idea Bank will be entered in a giveaway.
I can’t wait to see what you all come up with. THIS is going to be collaboration and creativity at its best!

What a fabulous idea (no pun intended). I can’t wait to see the different topics and to do this week’s assignment, especially since I never managed to do last week’s.
Despite my assignment slacking, I have made some overall changes, like added pages and a tag cloud to my blog, and I plan on adding the Disqus comment widget. Plus that pesky, lingering idea about changing to Wordpress…

This is a really great idea. I used Mama Kat’s Writers Prompts last week to help get my mind spinning. I didn’t use any yet but I got some great ideas that I jotted down.
So one, I’m a showoff because I want to publicly announce that at 1024 am MY TIME! I’ve both written my idea bank ideas comments AND written the assigned post.

Love this idea! I have a few thoughts I have been keeping as a back up for when I have no idea what to write. This will be a great resource!
One question: I, too, have seen posts on blogs that led me to write one, and I have been wondering if it’s appropriate to somehow mention that. And if you do, do you need to tell the blogger you are referencing? Specifically, I was planning to ask you about this anyway because your post about your son and popularity resulted in a post I wrote. So I linked to you in my post. I don’t want anyone to think I’m stealing their ideas, but I also don’t want to attach them to me unless they want me to. Does that make sense? (The post I wrote mentioning you is listed below.)

This is me waving to you as I crawl out from under my writer’s rock. I am so sorry to not have participated in your incredible blog challenge. 2 things got in the way: Mexico and deadlines.
You know about Mexico, but the deadline is my critique partner and I have until Friday to finish up each other’s revisions. And so I am trying to stay out of blog world this week and focus on revisions. Total bad timing on my part and I do apologize because you know I love you more than anything.
I love the writer’s bank! And I gave you some ideas, yeah, but girl, you slammed it home! Your topics are brilliant! And profuse! You are the man!
