Welcome to Friday Flip-Offs! Get rid of your weekday angst! Meet some fab bloggers!
Go leave a comment on this post to win some free ConAgra food products. I’m doing 5 of these giveaways and your chances are GOOD. Seriously good. I beg for your help!
Now, a few new rules for FFO.
1. If you feel like flipping someone off but don’t want to join the hop, feel free to just leave a comment with what’s got you riled up this week. No worries!
2. If you link up to this bloghop and haven’t posted anything remotely related to Friday Flip-Offs, I will delete your link. Last week i deleted 3 to 4. I’ll not have mine, or my friends’ time, wasted.Read about what one of them did below.
3. Please make an effort to get around and visit the other bloggers on the hop. Sometimes I go to sites and they’ve only received one or two comments. Give them some love and try to welcome new our new players. Thanks!
Okay. Without further ado…let the flips begin!
To a certain blogger, FLIP OFF. While I am in awe of your giant cajones for coming to Friday Flip-Offs, linking up only to try to hijack these fine participants for your own bloghop, it’s rude and tacky. If you have to resort to being shady and not even at least giving me credit for sending awesome chicks to your site, you don’t have a place here.
To being 40something: FLIP OFF. I’m sad at how the last few years have ravaged my body. And the wrinkles? Let’s just say that if we ever lose our home, my kids can take shelter in my wrinkles.
To the Texas highway system: FLIP OFF. I have no idea what ostrich-brained redneck thought up the idea of how to build highways and their accompanying frontage roads here, but after 4 years, they still baffle me sometimes. And apparently they baffle my GPS, too, considering I got lost trying to go a mere 1.5 miles to an Olive Garden in Dallas using navigation.
All better now. But before I go, I want to say a big thank you to all of you terrific ladies who join me on this meme every week. I love our little group that we’ve built and love seeing a couple of new faces every week. There’s something so reassuring in being able to have a complaint about a topic and have other people say, “yes, you are SO right! That sucks!” Love you gals!
