Welcome to Friday Flip-Offs! No vlog this week… I’m actually on vacation, if you call spending 3 days at Six Flags with your two kids in ass-hot San Antonio while your husband works down there a vacation. But at least it’s a getaway!!!
Tomorrow I wil do my first Surprise Stalker incident, so be on the lookout for that!
Without further ado…
To the person that owes me $: FLIP OFF. I earned that $1,000 and it’s really humiliating to text, email, Facebook and call you {oh, and now blog) begging for the money I am entitled to. For you to totally ignore my requests is frustrating. Especially since you’re a friend.
To my ovens: FLIP OFF. When did your calibration get out of whack? Not one cake this year has cooked in the amount of time directed by the recipe. Do you realize how much I bake? This is a BIG DEAL.
To the plumbing in our house: FLIP OFF. Last week, our shower head literally blew apart. 3 days ago, our kids’ toilet failed and needed replacing. 2 weeks ago, our master toilet overflowed and not in a good way. I already loathed these bathrooms, now it’s full on hate!

Great flip offs . . . today I’m going FLIP OFF this “my last post” comment thing that appears at the bottom of so many comments I leave – because it is NEVER current.
have you tried registering your URL with comment luv? that allows it to be more current. theoretically
but I had a problem with that that I had to troubleshoot in the commentluv forums.
I’d like to flip off my torso, too…only for being too short. Seriously, unless I get the super low rise, pants go up to my boobs. And then shirts go to my knees. It sucks.
LOL. I figured that flip would have some people from the short torso side speak out too
Ugh I hate people that borrow money and ‘pretend’ to forget about it. If you have the balls to borrow it in the first place at least have some to explain if you can’t pay it back like you promised. Great flip offs, girl!
What’ s sad is that it wasn’t borrowed money. It was someone I was working for!
Oh! Don’t even get me started on toilets overflowing!! The whole flood issue we had that I mention in my flip offs this week was caused by one damn toilet!
As for the torso, I understand.

Gigi! My daughter loves Six Flags!!!!! But, I get your frustration. Take it easy and drink some wine. They should have at least one place there that sells it.
I LOVED my gas oven in NY. They don’t so much use those in FL. It baked perfectly and always gave me the crispy crusts I love. Hope you’re able to resolve your oven problem and get you money soon!

Man, great flips this week! “Ovens”??? I can’t relate to the torso one, but I have fat stubby feet and I hate them. Especially in the summer time and when I am pregnant they swell and look horrible. They are identical to my dads. Fine for him, not so much for me. Have a great weekend!

Oh I would KILL for a longer torso – I have (relative to my height which is short so everything about me is rather short) longish legs and no torso so shirts always hang way too low and sleeves? Never ending on my stunted arms!
We’re having an expensive home maintenance week also so I feel for you on the plumbing front.
We are off to Great Wolf Lodge tomorrow so will be having an equally “vacation filled” weekend!

<3 the flip offs, although I'd flip off my torso for the exact opposite reason, it's so short, that shirts are too long because my chest is too big so I have to get bigger sizes, thus making the shirt ginormous and long

I gotta admit, I really love the idea of a flip off Friday…if I hadn’t already been knee deep in my funny Fridays, I would’ve had to join in!! Flip offs could qualify as funny though…yours did!! I empathize on the oven, I have a stinkin’ gas oven that cooks everything way differently…hate it!
