Okay. Without further ado…let the flips begin!
To myself, for being enough of an assclown as to think working for a “friend” was a good idea: FLIP OFF. Hours wasted, kids ignored, all for no pay. I am a serious jackhole.
To my dog. Again. WOOF OFF. I’m not sure if you’re an alpaca or a dog. I have vacuumed the house 4x this week and still there are giant tufs of your undercoat blowing around the house and stuck to the carpet. I’m not even sure if alpacas shed, but if they did, they’d look like whatever is all over my floor.
To fake people: FLIP OFF. Isn’t it exhausting to be spend all day being something you’re not?
To the people in CA trying to rake us over the coals for a vacation rental house: FLIP OFF, DUDES. I realize we are trying to book a house to rent over Thanksgiving. I realize it’s California. I understand the CA pricing model, which = outrageous. But seriously, you don’t need to increase your prices by 2.5 to 3x for Thanksgiving week. We are coming with 3 senior citizens on fixed income. And your houses? They’re not all that. Trust me, you’ll still be making money. That said, we found a very nice couple who is renting us a nice house for a very fair and reasonable price so our whole family can be together. SO THERE.
To Southwest Freaking Airlines: FLIP OFF. You used to be tops in customer service and made it really easy to use your free flight awards. Now, apparently, you suck like the rest of the airlines. We booked a house for our vacation and just discovered that there is no day after Thanksgiving until the Wednesday after that we can use to fly home for free. You just cost us over $500 on our vacation. I may never fly you again. Love, A Former Loyal Customer Who Once Flew 100 Flight Segments in One Year.

You totally crack me up. “And it’s not all that.” Sounds like something I would say. And I think the airline thing is a sign of the pathetic state the country is in. I avoid the fake people like a plague. Totally annoying. Thanks for putting it up so fast!

airlines, bad bad.
My dog is a German Shepherd mix so I totally understand the shedding. Brushing the coat with an undercoat rake works wonders on my dog. I still find dog hair in my food but I haven’t been finding as many white hair tufs in the dark carpet.
Airline companies are turning into jerks and airports are horrible that’s why I never fly and I’m happy about it.

Oh, great flips! I am with you on the dog hair…I can’t tell you how many bags of hair my vacuume has filled in the past year. Can’t we make something out of it? Donate it to locks of love? Yeah, not long enough.

We rented a house in San Luis Obispo last summer and it was the same thing. You know what these people probably pay each month…maybe a third of what they are trying to rent to you for ONE WEEK? I hear ya!

The hair. doesn’t. end. we’ve brushed, washed, pulled, and it’s still coming out.
Hmmm, fake people. That’s why i quit being “friends” with about 78% of people I used to be friends with. NO time for that shit.
And yes, the lovely airline “rewards.” We had a voucher for being kicked off a flight and enough points for a round-trip ticket and were paying for one.
It took 3 hours on the phone to book it and to find days we could actually travel. They all suck.
Yes, I’ve purged about that percentage from my life, too. Unfortunately I still have to see them sometimes. Boo.
i swear to God, if we don’t get to take our kids to Disney because of Southwest Airlines, I’m gonna give a whole new meaning to the words “going Mickey Mouse” on someone.

I’m with Lish when it comes to fake people, avoid…avoid…avoid. Sorry to hear about that work with your friend and your problems with the airline. Seems like it’s all crappy these days huh. I can’t stand fake people and have ended up having to walk away from people who have turned out to be one! It just seems so complicated trying to maintain something that you’re not.

yeah. there’s pretty much no day after Thanksgiving, except like 6 a.m. on Saturday, to return home on a flight using a FF ticket. We have been such loyal customers. so frustrating!
I have a German Shepherd too. And the hair is the main reason both dogs are now garage dogs! It is horrible! We have to sweep it out ever stinkin day! The airline thing sucks big time! And to fake people… no time for those idiots!!! Have a great weekend, girl!
I wish we could make our dog a garage dog but she would bark day and night out there or die from the extreme heat. Ugh!!!

Ah, yes, the friendship dilemma. I’ve vowed never to work for or even with one just so we remain friends. It’s always tricky isn’t it? I have the same policy with relatives. Except for the ones I don’t like.
Thanksgiving in California sounds nice. We’re going to Upper Peninsula Michigan. In our parkas, no doubt!

I have a golden and a pom and I have decided to start saving the hair and make sweaters. I will then sell them to dogs that have had their hair shaved and wish to have a full thick coat. Also yes please Flip Off fake people for me I know a few and they are too close… they may see me doing it!

Thanks for the wasp sting advice I had no idea! I am going to take my butt to the walk in center in town today because while it is not spreading anymore it looks all mottled and angry.
I can SO relate to each on of these things and would like to flip them all off as well! Southwest…so interesting…hubs was flying from Dallas to houston and he said they were so rude to him and he wondered what happened to their customer service as well. He vowed to never fly them again.
