To the nannies at the Chick Fil in upscale West Austin: FLIP OFF. You are 20. You have no business sporting a handbag that costs $1,978 more than my Target purse. You have no business wearing a full length, gorgeous silk maxi dress in a fast food restaurant while you “watch” some rich person’s kids. You…eh.
To my brain cells: FLIP OFF. I had a bunch of great flips and I have forgotten them. Why are you escaping my cranial cavity in mass quantity?
To people who add their name to blog hop lists, then don’t participate : a teeny-weeny, said with all sort of love, FLIP OFF. Sorry. That is just not cool by me. I haven’t had this happen much to my bloghop, but I’ve seen it before. Don’t post your blog if you can’t follow the host’s instructions. You are going to invoke bad bloggy karma on yourself.

I LOVE your VLOG!! So fun to actually “see” you and loved the Gigi flip. Classic & so funny. Sorry about google. Obviously I have no idea what I’m doing, so I wouldn’t even know if google was screwing with me. High on the techy challenged scale here. I’m working on mine now. Went on a short date and trying to play catch up.

it took me about 30 takes to finally get one I was okay with. Not the most time efficient way to blog.when I took them indoors I looked totally red and sunburned and freakish for some reason! I finally found that my kitchen, even with fluorescent lighting, is a better alternative than my bedroom, where the laptop is!
I get really annoyed when people link up like they participated and then I follow their link and…nothing.
It annoys me almost as much as the people that comment on blogs and basically say, hey you should check out my blog.
I check out EVERY blog of every comment as long as they have a link, it bothers me.

Hey Gigi, just loved the video, in fact found it hard to go back to reading after it. Cracked up over the poodle/Grandma comment – people are such nuts! (And I’m sorry I perhaps shouldn’t have laughed but you flipped them off so well!). I still haven’t tackled my Google Reader, so maybe I’ll stick with the dashboard until you sort them out. I also agree on those who don’t post properly on a link – I hit them last week – so uncool! So yes loved the video – though beware the top you wear if the lighting is much better…

Man, hope you are keeping my blog in there (if it’s even in there) J/k! I love the video. You seem so confident and fun. I think it is good to mix it up a bit. It is a little harder for me because I try to catch up on blogs in the morning when I get to work really quick (shhh, don’t tell anyone) so it is hard to watch a video and hard for me to remember to come back at lunch. But, I do like the idea and I always love your flips!

dangit, most have not had a problem loading the video. Weird. You know what, though, several people with Macs have told me that my blog doesn’t display right for them…so maybe it is Safari.
Boo.
It worked for me, I kept trying to unsubscribe from a few blogs and then they’d pop back up again. I found if I’d followed through the Google friend connect, then I had to unfollow through the ‘manage’ part on my Blogger dashboard before they would finally disappear from my reader!

Well. That is a hard question. My whole point in doing the blog hop is to a) promote my own blog and b) provide a way for other bloggers to promote their blogs and meet other bloggers while also having a common purpose.
So, if you don’t post any flipoffs, and you don’t do the linky, and you only post your own link, then all of these other nice women go to your blog and visit you, as do some of their followers…but none of your followers would then go back and visit the other participants’ blogs.
Mommakiss, above, has not been posting the linky, but does a Friday flipoff post, so there’s at least some connection.
I’m not going to ever delete someone from the linky for not actually posting the Friday Flipoffs, but I think in not participating, you miss the purpose of doing it in the first place and it being a two-way street. Get what I mean? Thanks for asking

Then, I got a phone call and an unfortunate family emergency happened.
I do apologize for the mishap. That is not like me to do stuff like that. From now on, I will just read and comment.
