Welcome to Friday Flip-Offs! I’m republishing this because my first one was doing screwy things. Surprise.
For those of you who haven’t visited before, FFO is my way of ridding myself of weekday angst and frustration before heading into the weekend. I virtually flip off whoever is on my last nerve. It’s very cathartic. The theory is that I don’t take anything out on my husband and kids, although the jury’s out on that.

To my hand, which has severe blogger’s ache: FLIP OFF. I’m already using a vertical mouse. Why are you still hurting?
To the live scorpion I found in my house Tuesday: FLIP OFF. Why did you feel it necessary to take shelter in my vacuum, and why did you have to show your hideousness when no man was home to kill you?
To the designers of WordPress themes: FLIP OFF. Can’t you standardize how you handle simple things like headers, customization options, and the like? You are a royal pain in the ass to deal with.
To my Google Reader: FLIP OFF. Can your developers please figure out a way to allow me to DELETE an item individually without having to scroll through all of the other items in my list? Why should I only be able to delete items in groups? If I don’t like an item and don’t want to read it, I want to get rid of it. Immediately. Thanks.
To my adult acne: FLIP OFF. Apparently, I need to find more expensive medication than the $1,000 per month medication I am already throwing at you to make you go away? My face looks like the craters of the moon.I’m 42! Isn’t 26 years of acne enough already?
To my front loader washer and dryer: FLIP the F OFF. You may be my single greatest waste of money. The point of an expensive front loader is a) to be convienent [so I shouldn't have to leave the washer door open, clean out a gasket, a hose basket and other areas once a month] b) hold more clothes [which you don't] and c) to be more energy efficient [which you're not, since every load of clothes has to be dried multiple times]. You SUCK, you SUCK, you SUCK.

It works!! Love the title clarification. Did I ever mention that I was on accutane? Yep, I can actually really empathize with the adult acne thing. And I’ve really been wanting to flip it off. I mean really, when you have wrinkles you should no longer have zits. It’s just unfair and wrong on so many levels.

I love my front loader – it’s an Asko. Had it for over 8 years, never missed a bit, no maintenance and washes things without wear and tear. So sorry yours sucks. Scorpion sounds fun, have only seen one here – yes we have them in Australia, small and not as deadly as yours. Still don’t bother with the Google reader just keep my eye on the dashboard and so far behind this week – aagghhh. Have a great weekend and thanks again! We have LG brand. We love our LG fridge, but the washer/dryer…not so much. I think the front loaders are one of those things you either love or hate. I hate.

omg. a scorpion. yikes. I’m weird about spiders. If my hubby or any other man is around, I go all scared woman and have them “kill it” said in my scared woman voice. But if I’m alone, say using the bathroom and see one, Nature woman comes out and kills the bad boy. Do you see anything wrong with this picture.

A scorpion?!? Eek! I would’ve died on the spot Gigi. Really. lol And adult acne? Oh no. That really stinks. I hope you find a cheaper alternative.
This week I’d like to flip off Feedburner for constantly screwing with my numbers. I don’t care if my subscribers are still receiving my updates. Get the numbers right dang it!

What’s a vertical mouse?!?! With my never ending carpal tunnel in both wrists (I alternate to try and alleviate the issue but end up with two bad wrists instead of just one) I think I need one of those!!!

A vertical mouse is a mouse that has your hand positioned more on its out edge (the side by your pinky finger) than twisting your wrist so your hand is perpendicular to the desk. It’s much more comfortable. there are many different styles, but I bought an off-brand one for $12 at Discount Electronics and I LOVE it. My whole right side – arm, back, wrist – had been hurting so bad, and this has really brought me a ton of relief!

Oh, also, since you mentioned flipping off google reader (I’d like to punch it in the face) I thought I’d mention feedly.com. Have you tried it? I just imported all of my google reader in to it and LOVE IT so much more. You can organize all of you blogs in your reader and it displays them all in a pretty, magazine like layout. It’s my newest obsession, haha.
