I wish that the title of this post were my own…but it’s not. It’s the name of a very lovely company – Children Inspire Design – that combines a love of children with a love of our environment and planet:

Children Inspire Design is a product line of modern, eco-friendly and culturally diverse wall art, wall cards and posters, full of whimsy, and designed to help children learn compassion for our earth and all who inhabit it.  Artist, mother and social entrepreneur, Rebecca Peragine, has combined her passion for global design with her desire to inspire children to celebrate eco-consciousness and the beauty of different world cultures.

Environmental education is at the heart of each design. Rebecca believes in embracing every opportunity to recycle and reuse. Children Inspire Design creates art that teaches languages, cultures, and ways to care for our Earth. Each piece incorporates repurposed paper materials, soy inks, and biodegradable packaging.

When I was originally approached by Children Inspire Design’s PR firm to have a look at this company, I was unsure of what to expect. They let me choose an item from their catalog to sample and review.

It didn’t take me long to find the most perfect item to sample.

Little CEO is captivated by birds. She adores them. In fact, she’s asked Santa for one, but we’ve told her that the house we’re renting won’t allow another pet. So I try to fill her life with little birdies wherever I can.

So you can imagine that when I found this print, it was the item I just had to select to sample. Little CEO loves the delicate little birds on their tiny branches. It’s whimsical and charming and perfectly Little CEO.

Children Inspire Design has scads of adorable prints, note cards, journals, posters and more to pick from. I love that the designs are timeless – meaning that whether you have a baby or an 8 year old, they still work. And? They’re super reasonably priced.
