I attended Bloggy Boot Camp in Austin this past Saturday.
Everybody’s gonna write about how fun Boot Camp was and how great it was to meet other bloggers, and how we got some really cool swag. I decided to write a song about it instead.
I was also this week’s hostess for Pursey Galore, the bedazzled, sequinned bag that is the face of Project: Purse and Boots. Project: Purse and Boots is a project being run by my friend Lori at In Pursuit of Martha Points to raise awareness for the American Stroke Association. Pursey is traveling the country to different parties each week and partying it up with great women.
Here is my Tribute To Bloggy Boot Camp. This is sung to the tune of Camp Granada.
Hello readers, this is my stamp
On my day at Bloggy Boot Camp
Camp is full of information
They did great things with search engine optimization.
Look at Tiffany, she’s so pretty
Not to mention, very witty
I brought Pursey, to the sessions
All her sequins made a really good impression.
Working with brands? Gotta earn this.
So says Jessica, who writes Bern This
I showed Pursey to Tip Junkie
She dolled it up more and made it super funky.
Met some old peeps and some new peeps,
Drank with one peep, maybe two peeps.
Not one blogger was mean or vicious,
And I must say that the cheesecake was delicious.
Hire me! Big corporate brands
Just hire me! I’ve lots of fans
Don’t leave me in bloggyland without a deal
I truly am for real.
Hire me! I need some money
Hire me! This isn’t funny
My hubs will repo my laptop
And pageviews will drop…
Kerri Case threw down the hammer
Told us all to watch our grammar
Jessica Gottlieb, who’s a Power Mom
Warned that privacy is so a ticking time bomb.
At the party, I brought Pursey
Pimped her out big, showed no mercy!
All the bloggers wanted to feel her
And Wonder, Friend actually tried to steal her!
Bloggy Boot Camp, it’s all done now
Wish I could have lots more fun now
Two thumbs up is how I’d rate ‘em
‘specially when we got to drool over Channing Tatum.
