We’re all about bloggy-themed giveaways today! I’ve already kicked off a pass to Bloggy Boot Camp Las Vegas and a seat in MomComm’s Content Brew class today (links to those below if you missed it).
One of the other aspects of blogging that I get totally jazzed about is blog design.
I truly believe that a good design can make all the difference for a blogger – particularly if that blogger wants to work with brands. A good design draws readers in, eliminates distractions and reflects the personality of the blogger. I could spend hours gazing over beautiful blog designs.
I remember being a newbie blogger and wanting so badly to have a well-designed blog…and just not being sure I could justify the cost. I can tell you I’ve gotten every bit of my investment in a designer back and then some. But money is tight for everybody, and I want to help you along on that front.

Kayleen’s a blogger as well as a designer, so she has a pretty great bead on what it is that we bloggers want. In fact, many of my friends’ designs were done by Kayleen. I like that she has a clean, uncluttered aesthetic and what she designs always has a sense of approachability. I never feel intimidated visiting any of the blogs she’s designed.
